We all wish our Instructor Schalk a speedy recovery after having a horrible car accident on the 22nd. He is now out of hospital and back home recovering with a couple of extra pieces of metal in his body. Should be fun going through security now hey :0). We look forward to seeing you back diving very soon. All our love - your family.

OK guess what one of our wonderful international visitors Anna Thoursie forgot to do? Have you ever seen mask squeeze like this before. Please people remember to equalize your mask while you are decending. There was no damage to the eyes and thankfully our mask - ha ha. We wish you well on the rest of your travels.

Stunning sightings as always on Aliwal Shoal. This Mantis Shrimp was sighted out in the open entertaining the clients and a pod of approximately 25 dolphins also put in their appearance on North Sands on the second dive of the day. Two nice sized Potato Bass also came in for a look and hung around in mid water. Come and join the fun :0)

Whales, whales everywhere. Well we have sharks galore and really good luck for the divers today who were down on South Sands with a mother humpback and her calf circling them. How awesome and how jealous am I. Green, green, green. Terry Locke who was on his last qualifying dive was extremely fortunate. Visibility of about 10m and water temperature still stable at 21 degrees.

Raggies in Raggie Cave

Take a look at this video taken by Lloyd Williams. What an amazing sight. These wonderful creatures continue to leave us in awe at their grace and beauty.Even the experts are dumbfounded as to why there are such large numbers of sharks here, all I can say is, "long may they stay".

Well all of you that know our reefs are going to get a kick out of this one. I lead a dive this morning to "SUBWAY" of all places and it was absolutely AWESOME AND SPECTACULAR. Schalk had two students doing their advanced navigation and one open water doing her second sea dive. Well I have never seen it like this. Loads of crayfish (yum yum), guinea fowl eel, cleaner shrimp, octopus, rock cod, nudi branchs and loads more. The amount of soft and sponge coral was also amazing. Had a really good time. Pam

Yes, they are on their way to "Instructorship". From the left Kenny, Kieran, Dean, Mark and Axel with the Course Director Martin looking on. Just one week to go boys. This time next week you will be writing your exams. Keep it up.
